Tom and I both are retired from The Hialeah Police Department. Tom was a
Juvenile Police Officer and also worked in the Administrative-Professional
Standards Division for over 27 years. I also worked for the same police
department for 20 years. We are both retired now and raise Miniature
Schnauzers, Miniature Horses and Tom has a plant nursery.
We raise Tea Cup, Toy and Miniature Schnauzers to suite all family situations.
We specialize in rare and unusual colors and super soft thick hair coats. Our
dogs have all been chosen for good looks, good conformation, good hair coats
and sweet dispositions. Our dogs are part of our family and breeding them
comes secondary to loving them. We breed each of our three females once a
year. The best part of selling our puppies is knowing that they are going to
great homes and all the new friends we meet through our Schnauzers.
Tom specializes in plants that are low maintenance and suitable for Florida.
He tries to get as many color contrasts in his plants as possible. Many of his
roses are small prolific landscape type roses that need little care. If a plant
takes a lot of work and chemicals to maintain he doesn't grow it. He can refer
people to you that can sit down with you and design your landscaping for you,
put it in and maintain it once it is in. They also specialize in hard scape's and
irrigation. He tries to keep his prices competitive and never over prices his
plants or jobs.
Tom and I also raise American Miniature Horses. Most of our Arabian type
Miniature Horses come from National and World Champion lines. Over the
years Tom has fallen in love with the babies and couldn't part with them. This
added up to far too many horses for us to take care of. Now that we both are
getting older it is getting harder and harder for us to take care of so many
horses. Therefore, he has marked their prices way below market value to
make sure they sell quickly.
